First and foremost, when you hire Progressive Sound Entertainment, you are guaranteed Eric Hovey as your Entertainment Director, Professional DJ and Master of Ceremonies. The personalized service I offer is from the very DJ that you hire. I do not believe in hiring other DJ's for my events, simply because your reception/event is far too important to me to send someone who knows little or not much about your day.
I am not your typical DJ in that I do not have a cookie cutter style of DJ entertainment for weddings/events like most companies. In fact every aspect of your wedding or event entertainment is completely customized around your goals and ideas.
Now, this "about me" section is curious, because what I do is never about me. It's about you. It's about your parents and your wedding party and your friends and family and your guests. Sure, it's important to know that I've been planning and DJing weddings & receptions for over a 8 years and all my clients have been more than thrilled with how their receptions turned out (see the "testimonies" section). But, unlike a lot of DJ's, I don't make your reception about me.
I don't turn into "Cheesy DJ" and pass out toy guitars & funny hats or talk obnoxiously on the microphone. I also avoid playing the chicken dance, Macarena, Electric Slide or any other typical songs you find at the average reception. But if that is what you want, we can certainly include those songs, after all this is about you and not me.
I have a wealth of ideas and suggestions for you to choose from that will help you custom design every detail of your reception to fit your personality, tastes, dreams and desires.
I add a lot of fun and unique touches to your reception so your guests feel involved--that is, they feel more like a part of your day instead of a by-stander. When we incorporate your ideas and dreams, your friends and family will notice and enjoy themselves even more. I'll go over these unique ideas at our first consultation.
Hopefully, you've already seen me at another reception. If you haven't seen me, I'd love to show you what I do when we meet.
And, again, if you've already seen me in action, you already know all of this "about me" stuff.
And you also already know that it's not about me . . . It's about you.
